I often buck the trend on TUSCL reviews and check out places that are deemed too sleazy and/or haven't been reviewed in a long time. Until Katie's place, that worked out well for me.

This is the strangest go-go bar I've ever been in. On my first visit, the bartender chased off every girl who sat with me, even after I bought a drink for the first one to do so. Dancers expect a tip after their fully clothed sets on the tiny stage behind the bar, but can't be touched at all - not so much as a handshake. My favorite dancer of the evening put her arm around me to ask how I was and got us both chewed out.

On my second visit no one was dancing and no one came by to even hustle me for a drink - the bartender, two dancers, and a gent I presume was a regular just talked endlessly about how hard it is to get a organize a descent Christmas party for the bar. I should point out that it was a different surly bartender. I left after one.
