I'm coming back to this place...

I'm coming back to this place on a regular basis. It is really the only place in Des Moines I have found that is comfortable for someone over 40 who is not a redneck. I admit, however, that I have not tried Mynx and may sometime in the future. I hear they push you to tip and that annoys me - I'll tip when I'm ready.

The staff in general is more courteous - the bouncers seem to have relaxed some, but I think they know me now. Hey, bouncers are supposed to be sort of assholes - otherwise you get all sort of riffraff ruining the place.

The door girls are Shawna - who is sweet and cute - and some other bitch who is always on the rag. Seems like they always have one nice door girl and one asshole. I have wondered if this is an experiment to see which yields greater income. Hey - I'll give you a clue - no one likes a bitchy fucking door girl.
