A convenient placed club in Greektown...
A convenient placed club in Greektown in downtown Detroit. The club has recently undergone a desperately needed remodeling.
If you go in the afternoon or early evening there is no cover charge. The usual cover is $5-$10 and you have to pay $25.00 for booth seating at night.
I have no idea if they have a VIP room. The city of Detroit has rules about lap-dances and VIP rooms, these rules seem to be ignored in general. I haven't had a problem getting an awesome full grind lap-dance since the new law. I have been told that the police come around every week or so to make sure the law is being enforced, but the club knows when they are coming and at that time the rules change to only air-dances. If air-dancing, come back later.
Drinks are decently priced in the afternoon and early evenings. On weekdays they can be cheaper too. it seems as if it is slow the booze is a little cheaper. Beers $5, drinks $6-$10. Word to wise, if you buy a dancer a drink look out for an African American stripper ordering wine, a $27 dollar glass of wine. I would advise you to offer to buy a dancer a drink, its shows a little class and they respond to it and you will get better dances. This club has veteran strippers who aren't dumb, the more respectful you are the better time you will have. The bounces are nearly invisible, but if you get out of hand they will appear of of the ceiling to crush you. Don't complain to the cops about your treatment either; you will get ignored or they will ask where your car is and tow it for a HEFTY fine. Detroit likes to mess with people by towing cars, if there is any problems at the club they will tow cars too. Park at Greektown Casino and walk, its only a block.
Use the ATM at the Athenium hotel, directly across the street from Bouzouki club if you need cash. Its safe and no fees for withdrawals.
