Hit up Deja VU in the...

Hit up Deja VU in the City of Industry when in LA for a business trip, based off reviews I read on the web. The place was about as expected, which is both good and bad.

First, the club has a couple rooms, with one main room with a big stage in the middle. For some reason that stage had two poles, but I never saw two girls dancing at the same time. Lots of seats around the stage, and then in rings around those seats. Around the outside edges there were some tables, where I would imagine you sit if you pay something extra. I'm not sure the value is there for that though. The real value in the club is that its a no-alcohol club, and all the drinks are free. And cover on a Saturday was only like $20. I only once got asked if I wanted to buy a girl a drink, and compared to what I've read or experienced at other clubs, this was the lowest hustle I think I've ever seen.

The girls are only so-so. There are a couple lookers, but no real stunners. I would say a whole bag of 5,6s, with the occasional 7 or 8. What was odd was that the better looking girls seemed to only dance on stage, and then would either go to a VIP table, or retreat into the back of the club. Unfortunately, I didn't get any lap dances from any really hot girls all night.
