BL is sort of a strange...

BL is sort of a strange place. Relatively upscale in the way it looks, yet a strange vibe. Whether you have a good time or bad depends almost entirely on the individual girls.

Pros: There are some very young, attractive girls there who are quite impressive in all ways -- friendly, very good dancers, and fun to be with. The place itself seems clean and comfortable, never seen any problems re: drunks or problems spilling over from Bourbon Street. VIP rooms are comfortable, though nothing special; have not had a chance to try out the newer additions (e.g., patio, balcony).

Cons: The dances themselves are sort of weird -- there's a cash machine that you basically put money in to time your dances. They say it is for the customer's benefit, but seems makes it seem very mechanical.

While there are a fair number of lookers, there are also too many -- for a showplace club for the chain -- average looking women. Also, some of the girls (to be fair, not all -- some are great) are VERY

money concious; hey, we all know that's why they are their for, but the the obviousness of it is sort of annoying. Finally, only been to VIPs in the evening, but prices are out of sight. Almost impossible to get any kind of room without making MAJOR dent in wallet (though a buddy who went more recently said there are some less expensive options now), might go over at real top of line places in, say Vegas, but not here. If you go, get a few dances from your favs, and then if you're looking to spend real bucks, do 1/2 hour with one; anything more and you'll be scrounging for cab fare on your way home.
