I had heard good things about...

I had heard good things about this place so a friend and I decided to try it out. It's actually a bit further away than some of the other famous places I'd heard of like Hong Kong, etc. We parked on the US side and took a cab but we gave the driver the wrong street and had to walk about 4 blocks to get there. Make sure you get the street right or just say the name of the place, most drivers will know where it is. Anyway, we were followed by some guy right up to the door of the club. He wasn't malicious but it sounded like he was simply trying to make a buck by recommending other clubs. The result of all this was that the club's bouncers asked if we had come there as a result of that stranger's recommendation. When we said 'no' the bouncer let us in without a cover and even comped us a drink. Good start!

The club is pretty dark inside and the layout is a bit different. There's a center stage with small tables and comfortable seats all around followed by an outer ring of similar tables and seats. The walls are lined by couch seating where I could see guys getting couch dances.

Once you pick a seat it isn't long before a girl approaches you. They'll sit on your lap and expect a drink ($10 plus a tip for the waiter) or they try to get you to go for a private dance ($40-60 plus a tip to the time keeper so he'll relax the clock limit). The first girl that came to me got a drink out of me and eventually a $40 dance. The private dance itself was OK. The best part was that she actually used her mouth as much as her hands which was new to me since I've mostly visited US clubs. After the dance I went back to my seat and she eventually rejoined me but since I wasn't going for more dances or drinks she left me. This was a good warm-up.
