I visited Kappa Kabanna on a...

I visited Kappa Kabanna on a recent Saturday night. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. However, the inside is quite nice with comfy chairs, a large stage and plenty of TVs so you can keep track of sports scores. Lap dances take place in a private area to the right of the main entrance and there's a VIP area opposite the stage. Drink prices were quite reasonable (about $3.50 for beer, double that for liquor) and cover was just $5.

Perhaps I just showed up too early, because there were only about five dancers working. Honestly, only two were really decent looking. The waitress was probably one of the cutest girls in the place and that's not saying much. I kept hearing the "night shift" would start at 9pm, but that hour came and went with the same five girls rotating to the stage. Not wanting to waste more of my night, I left for Big Al's in Peoria and had a great time.

I'll probably be willing to give Kappa another chance. Maybe showing up later in the night will change my opinion.
