I have been twice (out of 3 strip club visits ever) to this Glendale strip club. The first time was surprisingly impressive, and the second one--very disappointing. To give fair Ratings, the two visits will be summarized in two reviews. This review is about the first visit.

Me and my friend, who had recently arrived in the US, had long been planning to visit a strip club, since he had never been to one (I had been only once, even that without any lap dances,). A good chance came up when we were walking in the city in the late evening (around 10:30-11:00pm), on the Eve of Christmas. Not surprisingly there were not many people on the streets, and we couldn't see a soul when we approached San Fernando street. When we crossed the railroad tracks, we still couldn't see anyone around the strip club, which made us worry that it could be closed altogether. Luckily, the door was open, so we walked into the mini-hallway, and approached the "kiosk." "$40 for 2" said the girl behind the glass, which made me really upset, because I expected $10, as stated here (note to moderators to adjust the price). I tried to bargain, but that wouldn't work. me and my friend even considered leaving, but eventually we payed the money and walked through the pinkish/bluish curtains.

If you are looking for Vegas-style clubs, this is surely not your place. But if your interested more in the "strip" portion of a strip-club (as opposed to looking for a good Club that also happens to be a Strip-Club) the simple, but more or less tasteful decorations should be enough. The bar was on the right, followed by two stages across the room, and small black round tables (big enough just to rest one'd hands on) with two red chairs around were across the wall on the left (the red-curtained private booths were behind them), and the wall in front. Some strippers were sitting on the chairs, and no one was dancing when we entered. We first settled down round on of the tables, to check out the club. A woman in her 40's, claiming to be Italian, approached us at first, and wanted to drag my friend in for a dance, but I politely let her know that we wanted to check the place out first. One great thing about this place was, that not only we rarely encountered girls approaching us for a dance, after that woman, but also there were no waiters constantly offering drinks (no drink money spent, unless you approached the bar, and no waiter tips).

There were about 5-6 dancers taking turns on the stage, and a couple more that seemed to remain seated in the corner. In a strip club, I am chiefly concerned with dancers' bodies meeting my standards (which is basically curvy, buxom, with full natural breasts), which fortunately most of them, more or less, did on that day. If you are looking for gorgeous, model-like women, then, again, this might not be the best club for you. Most dancers were Latina, Philippine, a couple of Euro and one or two Armenian, as far as I can recall. Probably given the special day, there were little patrons in the club, and for a very long time, me and my friend were the only ones at the stage. So all the strippers basically danced only for us. And sometimes, my $1, $2 (sometimes more) tips got me faaar more than I had gotten throughout the whole day of my first visit to a Strip club (which was the Seventh Veil, in Hollywood) (for instance, getting the objects of desire rubbed in your face and then getting your hands put on them, and being asked if you're having fun, (all by one Latina), surely feels nice:)). I do generally believe in the principle of "Your Mileage May Vary," and I take the care to increase mine (For advice read the article on Strip-Club etiquette, on this website). By the way, I used the stage dances as auditions for the dancers, part of which was to see their limits, in order to ensure a good private dance later. My choice eventually was a European looking blondish girl, who was also very sensual on stage (Speaking of stage dancing, there was no "Show" dances, as if dress- -up striptease, or using of props; most did not dance well). She took the care to introduce me to the pricing ($20 for the first dance, $10 for for every following dance with the same stripper), and was very polite. We went into one of the booths, She advised me to take off my jacket, and waited until a new song starts, to give me maximum time (things, which are very much appreciated, as I understood from the terrible 2nd experience at this club). As soon as the song started, and she sensually pressed herself onto me, I knew I made a good choice. I carefully explored her limits and never found a border. When the song was over, she let me know about it (one of those crucial things mentioned above), and asked if I wanted more. I said yes, but told her that clothes would be better off (they were still on). She asked a $10 charge for that, but given the great price for lap-dances, I agreed. Again, I did not find any borders of her limits (I did explore carefully, though). her bottoms had not come off by the end of the second dance, But I was very satisfied with the dance overall. I found my friend, who had had an equally great time with the Italian woman, and was even treated with 4 Free Passes (2 of which I still have). Already 3 hours into our visit, we shortly stopped at the bar, for some root beer and a chat with the amusing (though male) bartender, and left the place, with an accomplished feeling.

I am sorry to say, that my second visit (which I will share afterwards) was on almost all counts disappointing, but based on the this first memories, this is a club I would give a chance again.
