So me and two work buddies...

So me and two work buddies decide to hit the Paterson "ballet" and visit Dr. Cave. Dr. Cave is located in downtown Paterson right near the entrance to Route 80 West. You actually feel safe parking and walking into club (as opposed to the Market street establishments "Guys en vie Rose, Moonlight and Baby Dolls" where you feel like your pushing the limits of safety). Outside not much to look at all but when you walk through the entrance, a very pleasant surprise awaits.

The interior club has a polished look to it, mirrored all around, wide screen LCD televisions on each wall showing showing local sports. The bar was clean, the seats comfortable and the staff friendly and "warm". The bathroom was not updated but nevertheless functional and clean. there were plenty of seats available (maybe 4 to 6 other patrons at any one time). Most of the action was on our side of the club since we were the ones tipping.

There were a mix of dancers, a Latvian, an Indian (from India), two Spanish dancers and the best one a young thirties-something Muslim previously from Uzbekistan! A very intelligent and "worldly" individual she actually sat with us and we had a great time just chatting. Of course we tipped her all along but nothing too crazy. The other dancers would approach every 20 minutes or so for the dollar parade but once again we felt no pressure and actually welcomed providing tips. It did not appear that the other dancers were well versed in English and perhaps that is why they remained on stage (they also appeared to be older 30s to 40s - no real beauties but decent bodies and outfits).
