What I like about this club: historic, still has a burlesque feel. Claims to be oldest topless bar in Oregon/Washington/Idaho. It is at least the oldest continuous running topless (now all nude) bar. No cover except weekends, when it is low ($2) with a one-drink minimum. Reasonable price on the drinks.

Located in downtown Portland, Oregon (near Chinatown). Small, cozy, dive-feel, single stage with a pole. Focus on stage dances, table dances also available. The club is currently operated by the daughter of the original owner; she runs cocktails on weekend nights. Known to be female-friendly. Has female bartenders. Courtney Love stripped there in the 80's. Not far from the old Satyricon, where she hooked up with Kurt. Magic Gardens is also nearby.

Dancers select music from jukebox for stage dances. The music is good, hip. Mary's is a happy, historic happening place to go on a Friday night. And that's what I love about it.
