I had not visited Shakers for...

I had not visited Shakers for around 10 years, when I found myself in the neighborhood and decided to grab a quick beer. I was glad I stopped, and will make time to return at some point in the near future. Seems they have done some remodeling in those 10 years (or my memory is failing, more likely!). I would say it was a comfortable place to hang out for an hour if it were not for the MUCH TOO LOUD music. A great surprise was the nice selection of beer on tap - someone in charge is obviously a beer junkie with good taste! Girls were generally attractive, even for a Monday afternoon shift. Of course, the typical NJ dollar parade is in effect, but most girls did not come around too often, perhaps due to the light crowd at this time of day/week. I won't hesitate to return if in the area.
