I went to Soft Touch around...

I went to Soft Touch around 3:00am Saturday morning. This is predominately a black club, and that night it was packed! I am white. That night I might have been the only white dude in the place. Didn't make any difference, bartender waited on me quickly, and dancers talked to me easily. I experienced no racial implications of any kind...and that's the way it ought to be for all customers at all clubs.

This place is like no other club I have ever been to. It was standing room only, so I stood near the bar and a dancer said HI and asked my name. Introduced herself, and asked if I'd buy her a Smirnoff. Did that. Could hardly talk because the music was at a level that only special speakers can create. Loud, very loud.

Looked around, and several girls were on a couple of different stages. Guys were standing around joking with them and tipping. It was obvious that everybody was having fun - it was one giant (and very loud) party. Most girls roamed around topless, some totally nude. It took me several minutes to realize that the girl I was standing next to had on a top but no bottoms.
