I was skeptical of Subi's for years because I had no idea of what a strip club in Southgate would be like, and granted, I had no idea what the neighborhood would be either. Subi's is a nice clean club, in a safe stable suburban area. There are businesses up and down the street and the area is clean and well lit. The club is nice. No, it's not Penthouse Palacial Complex with special lighting and floating stages and motorcycles that drop from the rafters, but a nice bar with a decent stage, a couple actually, and big overweight bouncers that keep the peace and stay friendly. If you order a real man's cocktail (like a scotch or a martini) you'll get a good pour and reasonably priced drink. I find it helps to loosen up a bit, and the girls will drink with you. I find that YMMV, but that is same as in any club, except that here you generally leave happy. In other words, you can usually get what you want if you want to pay for it. I think I've been here about a dozen times. I wouldn't have sex with any girl here, but I bet that people can, and do. Bring a lot of cash and get a girl a drink, then take your chances. She might have the same idea that you do, or you might get luckier next time. But either way you'll have a good time.
