Starz is one of my three...

Starz is one of my three favorite clubs in SoCal, mainly because I'm partial to good looking black strippers. Starz is located in the center of the black clubs in SoCal, near south central LA. The neighborhood isn't the best, though I only go during the day so it's a bit safer. Don't plan on using any public transportation to get here; driving is definitely your best bet. The three main clubs (Starz, King Henry VII, and First King) are all within a few miles of each other. Starz is, IMO, the best of the bunch in terms of dancer quality. White guys are welcome here, so don't worry about fitting in. The clientele is mostly middle class guys, and I've never been hassled. The club has an upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs has a stage, bar, and the lap dance area. The stage is only open in the evenings, and is nude. Downstairs has a small stage, a bar, and an adjacent room with pool tables. Upstairs and downstairs are pretty small, but it's not an issue during the day. On the plus side, Starz is a very laid back atmosphere. VERY laid back. The dancers are generally good to very good. Not too often you'll see a real jaw dropper during the dayshift, though some are close. I suspect night shift is significantly better. When you enter, there's a long bar along the right wall, at stage right in front of you, and the restrooms on your left. I generally sit at the bar.

I mainly go to get lap dances from good looking black girls. The laps are $15, in a curtained off area upstairs. There's a line of 8 or so single person booths with panels between the booths, so it's fairly private. The downside is you don't get to scope out the other dancers in action. Also (unlike the other Gardena clubs) the booths are fairly well lit, so if you get off on watching a hot girl dance for you, this is the place. Apparently there are also cameras in the booths, but are only active in the evenings. And now the downsides of the club. The dancers are, in general, very passive about asking for dances. Many seem to be there to BS with the regulars, and might be doing the the whole time you're there. So if you want a dance you have to either sit at the stage when she's dancing and ask her then, or drop a tip on the stage (they general come by and thank you after), or just be aggressive and go up to her. Now the other downside. I've found that many/most black dancers are fairly clueless about giving high mileage, sensuous lap dances. Instead they just face away from you, drop their butts in your lap, and start pounding. Of course there are exceptions, and I've had by far the best lap dances ever from some black strippers, but in general be prepared for a crotch pounding. On the other hand, some of the dancers at Starz give some great mileage. One is a pro at Russian. But in general you're going to have to work a bit to get off during the laps here. But still, I just love the nastiness of being in the hood getting laps dances from some fine looking black strippers. Now if the overall mileage of this place would go from a 7 to an 9, I'd be in heaven.
