Dropped by for the first time...

Dropped by for the first time in quite a while on Saturday, and I spent a few hours. As usual, the facility itself, parking, neighborhood, food, etc. are all top-notch. I had noticed that the dancer quality had taken a turn for the worse over the past couple of years, but things appear to be improving. This is a perfect place to take a business associate. Food is quite good, and the girls are sometimes stunning. However, I wonder how the Men's Club will ultimately be able to compete and survive when the South Carolina clubs (Charlotte is just north of the border) offer so much more. In particular, the Penthouse Club in Myrtle Beach has everything that the Men's Club has, plus lots more fun. Places like Platinum Plus in Myrtle Beach are a huge step down in terms of atmosphere, but again, it's a ton more fun. At the same time, I find myself dropping by the Men's Club pretty consistently if I have a few hours to kill in Charlotte.

Drink prices are pretty steep. Laps are not really worth the effort, unless you enjoy paying pretty steep prices for air. I prefer my air to hover on my lap for free, but hey, that's just me. I enjoyed talking to a few of the girls on Saturday, and I had a good time watching some games while drinking premium liquor and smoking an excellent cigar. If that's what you're into (and sometimes I am) then the Men's Club is your kind of place.
