I decided to stop by after...
I decided to stop by after hitting up Centerfolds (see that review) once I realized that they were very close to each other. It's been about 3 years since I've been here. Probably the largest complaint I have about this place is the cover. I understand they don't serve booze and therefore need to make that money up, but a ten dollar cover should take care of my first non-alcoholic beverage of the night. Walking in and ordering a Coke and paying 13 (ten cover, 3 drink) is a tad ridiculous. Having spent a good deal of time and money over at Centerfold, I didn't have much time or money to do too much here.
Three dancers on shift and the only name I remember is Honey, who was a decent conversationalist. The other two didn't say much but had decent bodies. The first girl to come up to me ran down the pricing with me. Another thing I didn't like was how she said, "on the floor is 5 plus tip." Any where else you go in Akron, floor dances are normally just a straight up 5 and you can tip at your own discretion. I'm not a fan of a clothed floor dance having a tip be expected. Couch dances, which are in a large area of the room centered against the back wall, were quoted to me as being "15 plus tip" (again) with the dance being either full nude or topless, depending on the dancer. Though the couch area is in the open, the way the couches face, the fact that their in a darker part of the club, and that the area is elevated a few steps, allows for some privacy and could be a good time. I didn't partake in one of these considering how the pricing was presented to me. Besides, only Honey would have been a candidate on this evening and even then, I probably would have passed.
Bottom line: I'm sure I came on an off night. The couch area could be fun if you have the right girl and the cover/cost of drinks bites. I'll probably give it another try on a busier night, but not for a while.
