I stopped by TD's again to...

I stopped by TD's again to see if my last visit (in July) was the status quo or if I had hit the place on an off day. The previous visit had left me less than impressed with the place, at least compared to 7 or 8 years ago when in my opinion afternoons rocked.

The condition and atmosphere of the club is fine--it hasn't changed in years--but the quality and friendliness of the dancers was just average. I'll acknowledge that I am not a familiar face there and that can make a difference, particularly on the day shift. However, there was a definite lack of enthusiasm among the dancers. Although the place was not crowded and I was willing to spend some money, it was kind of difficult to get many of the dancers to come by my seat; at least 6 or so were sitting at the bar or at tables completely uninterested. I got a couple of laps that were nothing special. In short, it wasn't a great afternoon to be a TD's, but I'm not ready to completely give up on the place yet, especially considering how good it used to be.
