I visited the Toy Chest for...

I visited the Toy Chest for the first time yesterday afternoon. The club sits on the north side of busy Ford Rd, just west of M-39. It's a very short distance from Ford Headquarters and Fairlane Mall. The area appeared safe and clean ... at least in the afternoon. The sign for the club is a little difficult to pick out so pay attention.

It's valet parking only and paying $4 to park seemed like overkill. But this is Detroit so paying someone to watch your car might be money well spent. There was no cover at the front door nor at the VIP entrance, rapidly making up for the parking charge.

The club itself was about average size with a large stage twisting it's way through the middle of the club. Things were comfortable but not fancy and everything was neat and clean, including the bathrooms.
