One of my favorite strip club...

One of my favorite strip club visits ever. Dark, seedy, and unsettling, but fascinating at the same time. One look at the dancers and I was ready to bolt, but I had driven all the way from northern VA, where my hotel was, so I decided to have a beer at the bar before I left. I ended up staying all night.

This place is a borderline cesspool of humanity, balanced by a genuinely happy, festive, and friendly atmosphere. Early on, I thought the guy next to me at the bar might stick a gun in my face at any moment and rob me. Instead, he struck up a conversation with me, asked me about my choice of beer (a Heineken), and told me all about the neighborhood characters and goings on.

Then I was approached by a couple from NJ who thought I might be a local and could fill them in on the local strip club scene. I told them I was from Ohio and couldn't help, but we ended up hanging out and drinking all night and sharing our stories. The question of whether or not they were swingers came up and they denied it. I tell you what, though, eventually the female and I couldn't keep our hands off each other.
