My first visit to Mynt. ...

My first visit to Mynt. Wow. Very upscale club in the shell of an old Mexican restaurant. What a surprise. Not a strip club, but a "Gentlemen's Club." Definitely the nicest I've seen in Portland. Two stages with unusual "no rail" layout. Stages are completely open to the seating area.

Unfortunately, all the ambiance was wasted by being empty. I arrived after 8pm mid week and no action was to be seen. I bought a beer ($2--good price) and there were two guy sitting at the bar with no apparent interest in seeing naked women. No dancers in sight.

I hung around for a while and finally one dancer got up. She told me that she was the only one there as she was the only one "that could be talked into coming to work." Didn't get nude, just topless.
