So, against my better judgement I decided to give the Poodle another chance. I had heard that the lap dances were getting better here, and I'm really tired of having to drive all the way up to San Francisco to get a good dance. This afternoon the place was pretty quiet - about ten customers and four dancers. They were all in the 5 - 6 range. The push was still on to take the shower show, but the one time I tried that I found it was mostly a rip-off with lots of upselling for not much activity. Also, the manager was really all over the few people in the new lapdance area - I decided the pressure, and the mix of ladies, wasnt worth the investment this day. I have a business trip coming up to Phoenix this month -- I'll plan to report on two clubs there that are in the TUSCL top twenty, Bourbon Street and Hi Liter. Until then, it's back to SF.
