I've only been to a handful of clubs so far, but flashdancers was the best by far. It had a pretty classy look on the outside and inside there was a set of three stages with dancers and a fairly empty bar. The interior was pretty nice, didn't feel too dingy. Girls tending bar were very forward about asking for tips, but it didn't bother me too much.

The girls were pretty hot. A good mix of ethnicity, but fairly heavy in eastern european. I spent a couple hours and got several lap dances. The quality really varied. On one end, I had a horrible dance from a girl with a thick eastern european accent. She didn't get very close -- very little contact and seemed very mechanical. On the other hand I had a couple excellent dances. A lot of grinding and I didn't have to (was encouraged not to) keep my hands to myself. only rule was to keep them above the waist.

I'll definitely be back next time I'm in NYC.
