I went to Sho Bar on a reconnaissance mission to see what the deal was here. The cover was free, but there was a one drink minimum in effect. Drinks ranged from $8 to $14+, which is quite expensive for the quality at this place. The first thing I noticed was that there were only three other customers in here at 10pm. The second thing noticed was that this club is very small, about the size of a hotel room. It would have been a fire code violation if there would have been forty people inside. The bar was lightly stocked and had maybe five stools. There was no waitress. The small stage has one pole and a shower booth in the corner. I don't know if and when they ever have shower shows. The DJ sits behind the bar somewhere and peeks through a little hole cut into the back of the bar. There was a spiral staircase going to the upstairs to the dressing room and VIP from what I gathered. This place is the epitome of a dive bar strip club.

The six girls dancing here were older and not pleasing to the eye. This is one of those clubs where old strippers go to fade into oblivion. Old cows need to be put out into the pasture. The hustle comes hard at you, even when you give a firm "No". One of the black dancers had a manly voice. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a transvestite. I also gathered some of the entertainers had drug habits to feed from the way they were acting. This place genuinely scared me. Don't listen to the hawker when he lies to get you in the door.
