I stopped into Deja Vu on...
I stopped into Deja Vu on Bourbon Street about 8:30pm. I actually got my start into the hobby at this club many years ago. Since then, this place has fallen off the map. Back in 2008/2009 this was hands down the most fun club in town. Hot dancers were a dime a dozen. On my visit the previous evening, it was dead. Cover was $5, and that was a ripoff based on the number and quality of girls inside. The recent renovations looked nice (two secondary stages added, new lap dance area where the DJ used to be), but the chairs were still torn and stained.
There were four dancers total, two black and two white. One of the white girls was a 6, the other three were somewhere in the 1-4 range. Two of the girls were porkers. I have never seen quantity and quality this low at Deja Vu. I sense the Larry Flynt clubs on Bourbon Street are losing the battle to get the top-notch dancers. I chugged my drink and left. I may try back at a later date in hopes this club can regain its former glory.
