Actually, I went a few times in the afternoon during the last week in July. It was pretty much the same each time. True to form, Players was "down" this trip, after being "up" last time. I don't know what it is about this club. It is great at some times and lousy at other times. The only thing constant is the food. Always good. And a good value too during the late afternoon. I had more than a few dances with whatever girls I could. Most were humdrum, going-through-the-motions type dances. Also there were not many girls working and a lot of them were spending an inordinate amount of time in the restroom or lounge. So I cut my losses and went down 8 Mile to The Colliseum and then to the Penthouse Club. I'm hoping that my upcoming trip to Detroit will find Players on an upward curve. I'm banking on it. I'm purposely not going over the features of the club, the layout, the costs, etc. because those items have pretty much been covered in other reviews. This is more of a update type of review.
