I hadn't been to the downer...

I hadn't been to the downer in years, so decided to make the trip a couple of weeks back. Arrived around 10ish and there was a 5-10 minute lineup to get in. Cover was listed as $15 for Saturday (I think it was $10 for Fridays and $5 every other night). I was inside not 5 minutes before I got asked for my first dance. There were ladies EVERYWHERE and it seemed like someone was asking every 5-10 minutes for the entire night. The main floor was packed, the dj kept asking people to clear the aisles but it was a losing cause... the downstairs was not nearly as busy and the ladies dancing were just as great. Towards the end of my night things got a bit less crowded and I enjoyed the side stage on the main level towards the end of the night with bright lighting so you could see "everything" the girl was showing for the 3rd song. Good visit, likely won't be long before I hit it up again, though will try it on a Friday to see if it's less busy.
