Last week I paid an after work visit to Spearmint Rhino. The club is a bit far from town and does not have as many customers in the afternoon as Cowboy's or Platinum. There were 6 or 7 dancers working and all of them were very pretty and friendly. There were about a dozen customers including three customers. The dancers all gave the female customers special attention at the tip rail. It was fun watching their reactions.

The atmosphere at this time of day was very relaxed and laid-back. There was no cover, drink prices were low, all couch dances were 2 for 1 (@ $30), and the DJ played long songs. The dancers did not seem rushed and spent a lot of time chatting with customers before going to the LD rooms. (I could not help but notice that the ladies in the audience partook and returned with smiles on their faces.) I enjoyed the relaxed pace amd friendly vibe of the club, but the downside was that the dancers did not circulate much. I initially hung back to get a feel for the club and nearly missed out on the fun.

At 7:00 there was a noticeable change of mood. More dancers arrived, drink prices went up, songs got shorter, and 2-for1's became less frequent. It was still fun, but a bit more business-like than earlier.
