Visited during some down-time during a convention. I had read previous reviews, which were not super-enthusiastic, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was no cover (I arrived at 4:30pm), and that helped the value equation. Beers were $7, which seemed steep, and service was s-l-o-w. But the girls were attractive, and danced well. I sat at the stage, and they didn't hassle me for lap dances--nice, and not typical.

As some have said, the dancers didn't come to the rail to collect tips and talk once they'd gone topless (one dance clothed, one topless--a nice departure from the normal "get on the stage, take everything off immediately" routine). I asked about this, and was told that in California, they can't come to the rail in any stage of undress. News to me.

This is a club that aspires to be "classy," with an attendant in the bathroom, cocktail service, and a helpful doorman. While drinks service was very slow, the bathroom guy had a nice selection of mints and such available, and the doorman helped get me a cab when I wanted it. I liked that service, and tipped well as a result.
