Whenever we are in NYC, my wife and I stop by Flashdancers with the hopes of finding that perfect girl. The cover is $10 before eight and $20 afterwords. The shift changes at 8pm as well and they do a parade of talent which will give you a good look at your choices. I find that the late shift has the better looking girls. Drinks are fairly expensive, around $12 or so, but that is the going rate in the city. We usually have a few drinks with dinner beforehand so the ones at the club are just part of the overhead. They don't seem to pressure you to buy more drinks once you are settled in and I don't find the girls to be too pushy for dances either. The girls range from fairly attractive to complete knockouts and they usually cover most ethnic backgrounds. Many eastern European girls if that is your thing.

We usually watch the girls for a while as they dance on the main stage trying to find the right combination of looks, attitude and personality. When that happens, it's time for the lap dances. There are two areas where the girls take you for dances and these areas are off to either side of the main stage but they are in public view. This night we tried two different girls.

The first was from Egypt and she looked amazing. The three of us retired to the lap dance area and we both had dances. Some contact initiated by the girl with both my wife and I but overall she seemed cool and we didn't click. We thanked her and returned to our table.
