I'm a New Yorker so I...
I'm a New Yorker so I like to think of myself as pretty street smart, and one rule to live by is "never let a cab driver recommend a place." I was at a convention in Baltimore and in a cab with two coworkers headed to Scores when the cabbie insisted on Larry Flynt. I was overruled by my fellow riders and off we went. At least I got to say "I told you so."
The place was awful. There was a UFC fight so they tried to charge $50/each for us to get it. Our boss bought a bottle instead (which was cool, I guess). That got us in, and, hey, free booze. But that's where the good news ended. Not a single girl came over to our booth, and we're supposed to be high rollers in the VIP, right? It would have bothered me more if any of the girls were worth getting dances from. They were not. I put the count at 11-25 dancers on shift, but there may have been ten or less. Perhaps there were more elsewhere in the club, but we saw almost none. Totally lame in every way. I'm sorry, maybe this passes for a good place in Baltimore--I'm not from your town--but in Dallas, NYC or Tampa, my main stomping grounds, this place would go under as fast as if it was in Saudi Arabia.
