I had 30 minutes to waste,...

I had 30 minutes to waste, and I hadn't been in this place for a long time, so I drove over to check it out. Reviews from this site, and general word of mouth made me think before going in that it wouldn't be too great, but like I said I had limited time, and also it still doesn't hurt to get first hand knowledge. Well, this hurt just a little.

Walked in and the sign on the outside door said $5 cover, but I was charged $10. 1 drink minimum, so I got a bottled water for $5. When you walk in there is a podium where you pay the cover, and the DJ booth is immediately to your left. To the right is a stage that is lined with chairs.

DJ took the cover, and then came to the bar and got me my drink, all the while no one was on stage. Only one other customer was in the place. (and I don't think he was really a customer...more on that in a few) When I sat down at the stage, the DJ called out a dancer. She wasn't all that attactive looks wise, and was slightly thick, but had a very sexy body. She moved a bit, and came down and sat on my lap, and grinded some, so I tipped. She then filled me in that just her and another girl were working, and the other girl was getting ready to leave. Then asked if I wanted a back room dance. I didn't, but did say I would be willing to tip for more stage work. She then proceeded to get up and walk back into the dressing room. WTF? On her way back she stopped and talked to the other girl who was dressed in regular clothes. That girl then walked over the the other guy in the place spoke to him for a minute and then came over to me. (Maybe he was her SO or at least her ride home...see not really a customer) She sat down next to me and we talked for a few and in the conversation she made it clear that the girls are all about the back rooms, and not the stage. She even tried to sell me a dance as well. She said 15 minutes was $140 and with tip there may be some more fun involved. Too much money for too little time in my opinion, plus I had a sour taste from the other girl walking away. I said no thank you, took what essentially was a $15 bottle of water and left.
