After about 6 visits over the past 4 months to Flashdancers, I figured it was time to give their sister club Private Eyes a try. It really did turn out to be a sort of farm club version of FD - smaller, more low-key, an overall lower mix of dancers, maybe the 6-8 range more common than 8-10. The clientele also had a more downscale feel. I still found a few diamonds in the rough, but honestly I doubt I will go back, I'd rather go to FD which is kind of a known quantity where I know it'll be a great evening. The oddest part of PE was when I was getting a reasonably private, intimate series of lapdances from the hottest dancer I'd seen all night, when a loud, burly club host got right in my face and said something like "she's pretty, huh? How about the Champagne Room? Huh? Interested?" Totally ruined the mood, what an idiot. And I can tell you, he wasn't breaking up anything improper, he was just awkwardly trying the upsell. Ugh.
