Fun place; just don't expect the Ritz
Off the bat, there is absolutely nothing fancy or upper-crusty about this bar (notice I resisted using the word "club," as it just doesn't fit). It's just the perfect sort of place to saunter in, belly up to the bar, order a cold beer and proceed to people-watch -- both those on the stage and those in the rest of the bar. It's clearly a neighborhood bar that serves up both beer and entertainment.
When you first walk in, the bar dominates the room straight ahead of you. All the seating in the place is either at the bar or at the stage, which is off to the left, and only about one or two steps above floor level. I was there pretty early, so thought that was why there was no cover. But come to find out there's no cover later either. And that seems pretty consistent with the type of place it is.
When they're not dancing, the girls make the rounds at the bar -- both working and hobnobbing with the regulars. Friendly, definitely out to make a sale, but not high-pressure. The listing says $10 topless private dances, but I was never offered that. They were $20 topless, but nude required a VIP investment, which I wasn't into. But I did go for a couple $20 privates. The dances are in a very small cubby hole with a curtain. Not terribly comfortable. But the girls were fun and enthusiastic, with fairly liberal hands allowed. So I'd rate that a pretty good value.
The on-stage dancing placed more emphasis on chit-chatting (at least at that hour, when things were a bit slow) than on working for tips. And that also wasn't all bad, since the girls were quite pleasant and did get nude, even if they weren't exactly shaking it in your face. With one or two exceptions, the girls were all attractive, with a couple real hotties. I think I counted 7 or 8 total.
All said, as long as you're not expecting a "gentleman's club" this is a fun place to drop in, spend a little time, drop a few dollars and have a good time.
