I worked here as a dancer...

I worked here as a dancer for two weeks. I worked on the dayshift because I was told it was the more lucrative shift. If this is true, I don't even want to know what the night shift is like. The staff and the girls are GREAT and it's a completely stress-free work environment, but the money is atrociously bad if you're new. I was sometimes not even making the equivalent of a legal minimum wage. So, if you're more familiar with the Queens culture you might do well here (and if you speak Spanish that is a huge plus). You have to hustle HARD to make money, though. As a pre-dominantly Manhattan dancer, the culture was just not quite right for me.
