Stopped in on a Saturday evening...

Stopped in on a Saturday evening about 10. The first thing I noticed was that the cover had gone up to $8, I believe that it used to be $6. I paid the cover and walked into the bar. The second thing I noticed was that they had some new furniture. They had a few padded chairs along the railing in front of the upper level. And they had new stools at the taller tables near the back. Those were the 2 areas I sat so I didn't pay attention to the furniture in the rest of the bar.

A few things don't change about the Northern. They had a nice selection of dancers, mainly in the 6-9 range. They get a lot of women customers in the audience, mostly as part of large mixed groups. Many of them like to go up to the stage and tip the dancers. That is probably the best part of the stage show a lot of the time. And the main thing that doesn't change is that the club is definitely non-touch.

Watched all of the dancers do their stage shows. Some were more entertaining than others. A couple of them were very good on the pole. Sky has worked a lot to improve and has become very skilled on aerial tricks. She was the best dancer on the pole that evening.
