Better than last time but not good still
Stopped by on a Saturday night around 9:45 PM, hoping for a decent mix of entertainment and atmosphere, but honestly left feeling underwhelmed. The club sits in one of the safer corners of Lake City, which is a plus—parking wasn’t an issue, and walking in solo didn’t feel sketchy, which can’t be said for a lot of spots in the area. From the outside, it doesn’t exactly advertise itself as anything special, but I went in hoping the experience inside would speak for itself. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The interior feels like it hasn’t seen a real update in years. Dim red lighting tries to set the mood, but instead makes the whole place feel tired and heavy. The chairs were beat-up and wobbly, and the tables felt sticky, even though the place wasn’t particularly packed. It didn’t feel filthy, just… worn down, like a place that’s been coasting on autopilot for too long. There was no real energy in the room despite it being a weekend night.
The performer lineup was surprisingly thin for a Saturday. I counted maybe six dancers rotating in and out, and there wasn’t much variety in style or presence. Most of them were taller and heavily inked—not necessarily a bad thing, just not my preference. I usually gravitate toward more petite dancers with a relaxed, mysterious vibe, and that wasn’t really on offer. A couple of them made some effort on stage, but nothing stood out. It felt routine, like they were just checking off another shift rather than putting on a show.
They do serve alcohol now, which is a step up, but $10 for a basic rum and Coke felt steep—especially when it tasted flat and borderline watered down. There’s no drink menu, and the bar felt like an afterthought. The bartender wasn’t rude, just indifferent, like she was trying to get through the night. Service was quick, but there was no real interaction or atmosphere at the bar either.
I hung around for about an hour, sipping my overpriced drink and watching the room. The crowd was a weird mix—some small groups, a few solo guys, but no one seemed particularly into it. There was no spark, no excitement. The music was a forgettable loop of generic club tracks, loud enough to fill space but not curated in any meaningful way. Just background noise for an evening that felt like it was stuck in first gear.
The pushiness from a few of the dancers was another downside. Within minutes of sitting down, I had multiple girls approach me with barely a hello before jumping straight into pitching private dances. I get that it’s part of the hustle, and I respect the grind, but when there’s no attempt at connection, it just feels transactional and awkward. It puts a weird tension in the air and honestly makes it harder to relax and enjoy yourself.
Overall, it just didn’t feel worth it. The vibe was flat, the drinks were overpriced, and the energy was missing—especially for a Saturday. If you’re looking for something more polished, more engaging, or even just more fun, you’re probably better off checking out one of the larger clubs nearby. This one felt like a half-hearted shrug of a night, and I doubt I’ll be back.
