Surprisingly Expensive Quotes on First Visit but Beautiful Women
Come in to Sapphire 39 Friday night. Bouncer made us wait outside for around 5 minutes despite there being no line. Coat check is mandatory and $3 and there was no cover when we reached, around 9:45-10pm. This was my first time here. Lady walks us through the club, shows us around, and asks where we want to be seated. Good service on her end. We opt for a table near the stage. The club is relatively empty around 10pm but over the next hour is definitely picks up. Mandatory drinks. We don't ask the price and each get a drink. Few beers, few mixed drinks. Nothing special, no cocktails or anything. Check the bill and it's like $17 for a beer. Outrageous, even for a strip club. Whatever. Dancers on stage are attractive. Not too much nudity at first, but slow dances and occasional teasing. No one comes and asks for dances for a long time but as things pick up around 11-11:30 dancers start making their way around often asking for lap dances. I was very surprised by the price quoting as most strip clubs in NYC do dances for 20-25$. Every dancer quoted $40 today. The women were very good looking though - a lot of them seemed to be from Ukraine. Opted in for one dance, paid the $40, and it was pretty underwhelming. Light contact, no touching. Sat around for a bit more and left. Not too much experience going to NYC strip clubs but would definitely recommend flash dancers over sapphire from my experience going there. Quoted cheaper prices for dances, paid less for my drink, and quality of women were similar. No woman here was too ambitious or predatory and they were all respectful when declined for a dance.

$15 Pre-Fixed Meal is Fantastic as usual; Weekday Afternoon Dancers are Okay
Second time coming to Rick's Cabaret for their $15 pre-fixed lunch. Went on a Monday afternoon around 1:00pm. Was not planning to go but walked past the establishment and said why not, was going out for lunch anyways and remember the pre-fixed deal. Friendly bouncer and no cover. Went in. Sat at a table. Very few patrons in, which is typical for a weekday afternoon. Probably around 3 other people sitting at tables when I got in. Didn't see any dancers at first. Waitress was very kind and quick, and the food for the meal came out quick too which is great. It's a flat $15 for a starter (Salad), entree (portions are HUGE), and desert (high quality lava cake, recommend). Again, huge bang for your buck for the food aspect of it. When I was mid-way through the entree, saw a single dancer walking around. She seemed slightly older (late 30s, early 40s), hispanic, with a great natural body. Made eye contact and she approached me asking for dances. I decided to try out 1, which led to 3. High quality dances, a lot of grinding and hands allowed to roam slightly but was not allowed to touch her breasts. Last time I came to Rick's, the dance was high quality as well but only lasted around a minute. This time it was slightly better in terms of length, but not that much. 3 dances probably came out to around 4 minutes. Felt slightly ripped off by the timing but whatever. Was quoted $25 each. Went back to the meal after, finished up, and left. Waitress was very kind and quick so paid her a good tip. Overall, spent just under $100. Honestly, probably wasn't completely worth it but whatever. I would come back but just for the food quantity for such low price. Left around 1:45pm. Still only that 1 dancer who seemed to make laps ever once in a while for new patrons. About 4-5 patrons when I left. Very empty.

Beautiful Women, Typical Weekday Experience
I decided to go back to Flashdancers Downtown after around 2 months. Wednesday midnight at 12:30 AM. In my last experience, the woman who brought me from the entrance to the back area (where the strip poles are), behind the bar, was extremely impolite. This time, it was a different woman and she was much kinder. Mandatory drink requirement, and everything is expensive - but checks out for New York prices. For instance, water was around $10 I believe. There were a few women who took turns on stage, and all of them was stunning. Much more beautiful than my last experience, from what I remember. I would say mostly 9s, with a few 7s and 8s. Nothing lower than that. Gave a few dollar tips to each dancer - they had typical stage sets. A dancer then came from the bar area into the strip pole room and approached me. She was beautiful, a brunette. We did a few table dances, I tipped her, and she left. I sat around for a bit before calling it a day. The dances were great, but the only issue was that she kept on pushing for VIP even though I made it clear that wasn't my intention today. Bit annoying but it's understandable after all, they are just trying to rake in the most money they can. By the time I left around 1:15 AM, there were only a few (3-4) other patrons in the room, but the amount of women (10-20ish) were still the same, although most were outside at the bar area. All pretty typical for a weekday night.
