After years of going to Palomino, I had never been to Chicas. We actually tried going to Palomino this night, but even with transporting ourselves, they still wanted $50 a head. Luckily for us, Chica's was basically next door. The $5 cover charge was WELL worth it. Sure, some of the bartenders charge different prices from each other (still a reasonable $7-$8 a beer), and sure, the bathroom...leaves something to be desired, but I defy you to find a club with a better bang for you buck! Dances are CHEAP ($25), and milage is HIGH. The only downside is the dances all take place is one small room with a couch that wraps around it. You can literally be a couple feet away from another group with zero privacy....but the girls will make you ignore and forget all that. The clientele is more working class and local, so the club has a more local feel. The girls can be high pressure, but if you walked in the door, you probably won't mind. The majority of them are absolutely gorgeous. Even though there is occasionally a language barrier (if you only speak english), all the girls still make a fun and friendly atmosphere. We ended up going three night in a row on this trip, and if we had stayed a fourth, I think we would have hit it again! A must stop every trip!
