A place trying for the bottle service vibe
Decent parking. Inside and outside lots. By the time I left folks were starting to park on the street. Plenty of street parking too.
Arrived 9:45ish. Security was friendly. $10 evening cover. Scan the bar code on your ID. Cursory pat down.
One stage with a tall pole. Decent sized Bar. Several big screen tvs. Same basic set up from when I was there a while ago. But they're now pushing bottle service. All of the bigger seating areas were roped off. Bottle service only ($200 for a bottle that retails maybe $45). I understand bottle service in Hollywood or Las Vegas or whatnot. But the Long Beach area? Odd. But at least two groups were partaking. So whatever works.
The dances have also changed (a bit). There's a semi-private lap dance area in the back. No physical change, but now it's divided in two. The lap dance area. Six cubbies with slightly less privacy. And a "VIP" area with the rest of the slightly more private lap dance cubbies (maybe 10). But no private rooms or anything. Used to be a flat $20 per dance (one song). Now it's $30 for one dance, but the price drops if you get more dances. $100 for VIP (five dances). Pay for dances in advance (not including tip). When I asked for one dance, the guy collecting the money readily offered 2 for $40.
When I arrived, no dancers on stage. No dancers approached. Several were on their phones or talking to security. Others seemed to be with regulars. A server came over quickly and was friendly. I got an $8 (+ tip) beer. That night they had $5 well drinks but no other specials. Eventually a dancer came over. Very friendly. But the music was so loud conversation was difficult. We moved to another area, but still too loud. Disappointing. I guess they're going more for the club thing with bottle service and loud music.
While there, I didn't see many folks going in or out of the lap dance area. I had a couple of dances and only saw one other dance going on. Dances were good. Low mileage. Not much privacy and lots of cameras. By the time I left, a dancer was on stage. Minimal stage tipping and no one sitting at the stage. Interesting experience.
