Had better visits, maybe next time.
I hadn’t been to the Post for a while but was in town on a Thursday evening and decided to visit. Most of the time this place is a good time, but not this day. And I learned again that I should say no more often.
This place has plenty of parking, but today parking was hard to find. I had to park all the way on the end near the wooden pallets.
There is no cover, just walk in and find a seat.
The bar is in two sections, the left section is a regular bar with stools. The right side is a stage with tables and chairs around the outside. I was surprised to see that it wasn’t that full, I found a seat by the stage. The bartender quickly noticed me and I got my $7 domestic beer.
There were about 5-6 girls on the stage, mostly latina, all were 5-6. Then, as if they all noticed me at the same time, they all came by for the $1 - and they kept coming, I was out about $20 in 15-20 minutes and I ran out of singles.
One of the girls said she recognized me and said she was coming to sit next with me to talk. I didn’t get a chance to respond so over she came. As soon as she sat down she asked if I would buy her a drink, I should’ve said no. She ordered two drinks, smh. We talked a bit, nothing special just regular chatter. Then, as expected, she asked If I wanted a dance, I really wasn’t in the mood but she was insistent and I finally agreed. It was nothing special, and stopped after one dance. I figured it wasn’t my night so I hung around for another 30 minutes then left.
