I got chatting with one of the girls and she explained that to the left is basically the more private VIP area, I think its dark but that is how you get the privacy. Also, the girls can also take you to the BACK right (not the booths without curtains). So there is more opportunity for privacy than they initially tell you, you just need to be a regular or have one of the girls give you the tip.
