Solo Trip to the House
I decided to visit the House nightclub under no provocation or recommendation dolo after a Friday night out traversing the infamous U street with a group of friends. This was my first time. I took the train but this area of Georgia Ave has a decent amount of street parking up and down plus some parking off the Ave if you’re looking for a more discreet location. You shouldn’t have to park more than a 5 minute walk in any case. This particular section of the Ave is getting cleaned up relatively well so no need to worry about any street mishaps but like all of DC that isn’t near the Capitol always be aware of your surroundings. You walk up to a non-descript door give it a tug and security will let you in. You get the normal (weapons only) pat-down, pay your cover at a window once you walk in ($20 in my case) and breeze on in. To your right in a sort of depressed area is the money booth and a set of stairs (not sure if these lead to offices or private dance rooms). Beyond that area straight ahead to your right is the bar which is pushed into the ground a little. To your left in the center of the room is the main stage pretty large with booths sitting around it taking up most of that area. To the left is another area similar to “sections” you’d find in a traditional nightclub with more open area for dancers. In the center of the room between the main stage and the bar is a lot of seating area. And then beyond that in the far left corner is another small stage that’s raised with wall seating. And I believe a back room area. The club was dimly lit but you could easily see faces and bodies without any problem when you get close - a little tougher from a distance. The music was your typical club music and it was loud but you could still hold conversation at close distance. My first stop was the bar for a shot of yak. I believe it came out to $12 (which isn’t surprising - we’re in DC) but I tipped the bartender a few dollars before she poured the shot and she made sure it was generous. This is also where you can grab some ones. I don’t remember if there was a fee. Now on to the good parts. This being my first time in the club and not knowing whether it was more like a club in my native Atlanta where all the action is in the dollars spent and the main stage or whether it was more of a Lowkey tip for a lap dance club; I went to the far corner near the bathrooms to scope for a second and drink a little. When I first walked in it was pretty dead. Maybe 12-15 patrons and like 5 or 6 dancers. I lit up a joint which I was immediately told to put out by the owner (my bad!) so be weary of that. I looked up and seen two beautiful curvy women; one light skinned and one brown skinned both very curvaceous working the small stage near the bathroom. I approached and pulled out my (small stack) and spent a few dollars while they danced. They give an amazing show but didn’t really encourage touching or anything like that on the floor. They were fully nude and had chemistry. They would take turns backing in toward me showing their pussies and at one point even rammed their asses together. I watched those beauties shake their asses together until my money was low and I looked around to see if there was any more fun to be had. I took a break and decided to step outside to finish smoking and ended up going home for a more private show with a lady friend. All in all, I’d say it’s a good club if you’re used to the showbar experience. The women I encountered (although few) were beautiful and uhh…well-proportioned and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I’d definitely make a return visit when I get in the strip club mood again and I’m near the Ave. If I left anything out I’ll try to follow up in the comment section.
