The food at Azul is surprisingly good if eaten inside the restaurant, then again, I’ve only been at lunch or later.
I rarely order something to eat inside HK. When I do, pizza and the bacon wrapped shrimp served over rice hits the spot.
Room service once and it was a catastrophe. Maybe bad luck.
As for the random guys asking repeatedly to order food... supports my idea of sticking to a regular server. He can also get the word out so the other guys do not badger you.
Yes, Nescafé is the norm unless you stay further away or eat at a one of the several breakfast spots in TJ.
Less than a 10 minute (safe) walk is Casa Cacao.... Google it. Very good spot for authentic chocolate based, coffee drinks. It’s not a place for a double espresso but very cool and well worth a visit.

@Cristobal That’s great news. When I started to visit the “area” I would always give AB a walk through, usually at night. Unfortunately one, two max would catch my eye and as we all know it’s dark inside (or darker than HK). Which means when it was time, I would be sadly disappointed. So, for the past 2.5 years I’ve been 100% dedicated to HK. Now that’s me, my friends and like you, others have had some solid luck. Which is fantastic. As for me, my luck never runs out at HK as I’m well situated every visit top, down. Cheers!

Life is short, bald and smelly
Echo appears to be a living Saint. Fortunate to have such a stellar guide. Similar to have favorite gals for each shift I recommend finding a waiter and sticking with him for each shift. This way you have some rapport which evolves into a better overall experience.

Never had an issue with the HK VIP card going back 2 years. I do provide a valid email address which is the same one I used to create the account on this site. Point being, only like minded websites have this particular email for obvious reasons.
As for paying the house $17, now I believe $19 for each visit is a waste of money. One visit you will easily get the $50 back in value for one night alone. As for cameras - I’ve stayed exclusively in a Mastersuite, since Oct. 2017 each time in the new tower on 6 7 and 8th floor. No cameras in the room and that’s gauranteed.
