I am an American who lives in Tijuana. I dislike going to the Zona Norte. I only go there when my non-Spanish speaking friends need me to guide them. The women there are professionals and know how to empty your wallet. I bring an amount of cash that I'm willing to spend, but leave my wallet, cards, phones, etc., behind. However, if your goal is to get laid, the HK is hard to beat. If you find a superstar, which I have a few times, ride the wave. Which I have many times. I've also found logs. They get a reputation and leave soon.
