I think you definitely got one of the out of the norm experiences. I had one of those when I went the day of the Superbowl. I arrived in the early afternoon and saw almost no action for 2 hours. It finally picked up. I'm not a full fledged regular here just yet. But most of the girls who dance there on any kind of schedule are beginning to recognize me. Anyway, being known isn't a guarantee either so just stay on your game. I haven't seen the crazy menu change but I'm sure it happens. What I've found is that if you are testing the waters do so on the floor and push your boundaries to see the response. I've found that lends you more information as to what may follow in the VIP than just talking about it as body language tells far more than words ever do. And face it - it's a club for fantasies but if the dancer isn't just the least bit clicking with you then the disconnect will be more likely exacerbated in VIP.
