This was my first visit to...
This was my first visit to this particular club, but it wasn't all that surprising in that it was similar to the other locations in the Stars chain. You know what you're getting when you go here; kind of the corporate version of the strip club. Decent beer list, not overpriced ($5 for my Stella Artois), and a $6 cover charge. Clean, somewhat sterile atmosphere. There are three stages--the one in the back is incredibly distracting because instead of a mirror or wall, it has a giant wall of TV's behind it. Kind of annoying to see Sportscenter in the background when you're trying to concentrate on the entertainment.
The quality of the dancers varied wildly, but overall, the average was about a 7. There were 9 or 10 dancers on the night I went in, which is not bad for what seemed like a slow night. Unfortunately the dancers were either attractive or friendly, but generally not both. On the positive side, there were usually only one or two people at the rail at most of the stages (a LOT of rocks in this club), so there was plenty of attention to be had. I got a nice Stevie from a big-boobed blonde who was on the larger side, but hey, who cares when your face is in there, right? Plus with the sparse attendance at the stages, there were quite a few mini-laps going on.
Lap dances were definitely priced on the high side here, hence my low monetary value rating. $40 for one dance or $100 for three. I opted for one during this visit, just to check out the quality. Pretty much average--not a whole lot of touching, but I didn't feel ripped off either, as the dancer was enthusiastic and friendly.
Would I go back? Well, with all the options in Portland, it's not at the top of my list, but if I just wanted to go sit at the rail and watch dancers for a while, it's not bad--there are definitely much better values for your money though.
