Chubby use to dance at Late Nite. Here mother (Cindy)was a bartender/dancer there too and I believe she had a sister that danced also. I haven't seen her in a few years but I think this is the girl you're referring to. Like you said she wasn't actually chubby.

You probably were charged different rates from different dancers. The floor dances are $5/song and the VIP dances are $15/song (there are signs on the tables that clearing state the VIP rate of $15/song). Some of the girls charge more because they think they are worth more. This is common at both Gatsby’s locations. If they are going to charge you more than the house minimum requirement they should tell you upfront before they dance for you. In my opinion it is up to me to decide if a dance is worth paying more than minimum requirement.

As I mentioned in my review there is very little room in this club and no VIP area for privacy. To the best of my knowledge the dancers do not have sex with the customers. I was told by a couple of the dancers that club owners in the Netherlands have to obey strict rules that are strongly enforced. Yes, prostitution is legal in Amsterdam but basically in these four areas: Red Light District Prostitutes, Escort services, Brothels and Sex Clubs. -Peace

I've noticed this behavior at quite a few SC, dancers not dancing when there are customers waiting for dances. There's been several times I've left a club with "a pocket full of money" because no one offered to give me a dance.

I drove by this place a hundred plus times but never stopped in. I will check it out based on your review.
