I went to Jens the day after thanksgiving after a night of bar hopping. Upon entering, we were greeted by the bouncer that was nice ( no cover) that told us to have a good night and told us the drink specials. (I can’t remember what exactly they were) . We went to the bar and grabbed a round of drinks that were very reasonably priced and sat down. A few girls came up to us (me and a buddy) most were very friendly and not too pushy. After we ran through our picks, I decided to get a dance in the back. The girl was pretty good. No excessive touching, but the $15 a song was a very fair price. I ended up getting 2 dances and tipped an additional $10. She was happy with the tip and we went our way. The back room is very open with about 8 couches available for dances. I grabbed another drink and saw a different girl that was much hotter. She came over and we bullshitted for a little, not pressing for a dance u til I brought it up (about 10 min). I wanted to take her in the back, and she brought up the price room. The private room is a single couch that is right next to the bouncer but closed and fully naked. She was great. The dances were $25 a song and ended up getting 2. There was moderate touching both ways which was cool. The club overall was nice and fairly clean for an Akron bar. It was lit and open, which worked out because you could actually see the woman. There are “nicer” clubs in the Akron area, but Jens is pretty solid if you want to stop in for a few. I would go back since I actually feel like I got my money’s worth.

My buddy and I stopped by Gatsby’s south after a golf outing on a Sunday late afternoon. The club was pretty busy for a Sunday. Upon walking in the bartenders were happy to see younger faces (in our early 30’) and proceeded to order a drink. The prices on the drinks were about average compared to any other clubs in the Akron area, but they did run out of white claws. Ha There were maybe 7 girls working but most of them were with their regulars. 2 girls came over to us and chatted a bit before getting some dances. Girls were nice and not pushy at all. Overall the girls were fair to midland. I’ve been to better clubs with hotter woman, but it was a Sunday late afternoon so you could expect the 2nd team to be tagged in. We ended up getting a few dances in the back, which were fine. Nothing spectacular, and absolutely no touching. The girls did not mind, but the bouncer sure did. It was a little excessive since it’s not like we were trying to take advantage of the situation. Overall, Gatsby’s is a nice club, with attractive woman and a decent atmosphere. We would go back, but probably not on a Sunday.

I have been to bush a few times since changing ownership. Overall the club is nice, the revamp went really well, the club took on a whole new look, while still maintaining a decent atmosphere. The dancers are overall attractive, a little standoffish. But the stage is set up great. I do not understand why some dancers wear pastors and others don’t, not really a fan of the pastie look. This kind of bothers me because some of the more attractive girls will only take off their tops in the VIP.... I don’t want to pay the amount for the VIP because I can see a dancer taking her top off and showing me pasties. The club has a good array of dancers, Black/white, skinny/chubby. There is diversity at the club, which is good for all demographics. Dances that are on the floor, are pretty bad. They do not touch you. It is basically an air dance for 20 bucks. Now I’m not trying to get off sitting on the floor, or at the club by any means, but the value of the floor dances are a bit pricey for Akron Ohio on a Thursday night. I cannot comment on the VIP dances because being 100 dollars for a few songs just doesn’t seem like much value too me. Drinks wise - the club has a good selection of alcohol, at a decent price. I never felt subjected to buy a girl a drink, which was interesting too me. I will go back to hush, but overall I think there is better value at other clubs in the Akron/canton area.
