Yea, Papi Chulo. Some clubs are just unorganized like that. I know "time flies when you are having fun", which is why I like to track the time myself, also.

Seancarter, I don't know how accurate.the hours are. It is indicated that they open at 3pm, years ago, I arrived around 4pm on a weekday. They were open, but no dancers were there. They were still stocking the bar and cleaning up. I left around 430 pm, after not seeing any dancers. Sadly, I remember that one of the bartenders had a little girl at the bar doing homework, I would assume it was her daughter. She looked about 10. So, I guess they weren't expecting any adult activity for a while. On the closing end, I think they are open until at least 2. I left once at about 130am.
Fred56, the worse response I got was a mean look from a heavy girl for declining a dance. I was trying to count dances when I checked braid girl after what seemed like 1 song.
What do you mean she has GPS?

Tincan, you're right! Fuck her! Now, I could see why she wasn't getting any dances. On the other hand, if you want to get down in the private room, it seemed like she was the one. I'm sure she's not cheap though.
Pfunk, you really hit the nail on the head. They definitely had a weird mixture of dancers. The girls on the low end of the scale were just roaming around the club nagging for dances. I don't even know how/where they found their clown looking dance costumes. The girls on the higher end of the spectrum looked much classier and more professional.

Still looking for an ATF
Shadowcat, don't dare leave Atl for this spot. It is definitely not worth it. There is NO comparison with Atlanta clubs. I went to PW a few weeks ago and decided to not even post a review, as my experience was so uneventful. I think $40 for a dance is outrageous. When I was in Platinum, I was hoping to catch a girl during the "Showtime" and 2 for 1, but NONE of the girls even bothered to go to the stage. I did arrive very late though, around 1am, not sure if that made a difference. There was a line to get in at that time.

Where do they get these adjudicators???
"Not enough club details"? There was an invasive search, high cover charge, BYOB. The place looked like shit. Do you actually need a description of what that means?!
"Club ad"?? That doesn't even make any sense! Who would advertise their place looks like shit?!
deepthinker, I don't know if the 20 was for a membership, since there was no card or other record to document.

Y4L, Idk about a cell phone ban. I had mine in my pocket during the pat down. Doorman didn't mention anything. I was practically sitting in front of 2 other security folks (1 male, 1 female), as I went on my phone between dancers.
PapiChulo on my last visit a few years ago, I don't remember paying for parking across the street. In the scheme of things, I didn't think $7 was bad for "secured" parking in DC area.
Yea, IDK if 20 was the going rate or not for a VIP dance. But, the way I saw ol boy getting "handled" during his dance, I could understand why certain dancers might ask for 20 a song, against the wall. I might inquire more about the private room, next time around, when I have more time.

Garfield84, you hit the nail on the head! I agree with everything you said. Over the years, I've met a few gems at Wax. They might not be there long, so it's all about timing.

Joewebber, one place was 5 and the other was 10. Pardon me for not remembering which was which. My mind and focus was on something else.
Papi, you are right! I was glad we cleared that up before I forked over the $$!

Jamie, I'm definitely not a SIMP. I know and understand the value of my dollar.
If YOUR money is that tight, you should probably go for the dancers that ask you to pay them before each song.

Yea, Rick, I was on a mission! Haha. I don't have much opportunity for re-visits.
Diabolic, it was off my list from my first and only visit. Now, I strongly suggest checking it out. I think there is something for everyone in there.

Thanks for the input, Papi_Chulo. Note to self: Find out in advance what drink (s) I am expected to pay for!
Shadowcat, I really hope the club doesn't expand. I think that would ultimately change the "relaxed" rules and overall vibe in the club, resulting from a ripple of other changes required to manage a larger operation.

Update on the parking hustle: I received a letter 2 months AFTER my car had been towed and after I paid $360, I was notified that I had to pay $120 for the PARKING TICKET! I debated whether to pay it or not, but after calling the court, I was informed that the money I paid before was just for the tow. I will never to return to Brooklyn, Illinois!!

Thanks for the feeback, all.
ww, i didn't see what I would call a "safe" neighborhood to park. Maybe, I came in from a different direction.
Papi_Chulo, I'm with you. NORMALLY, I bite the bullet and park in the club lot nearest the club or use their valet, when visiting from out of town. Because, I had been there the 2 previous nights, I got a little too lax. Yea, just a parking ticket would have been more reasonable (but, still fucked up). I'm sure the tow company gives kickbacks to the cops.
rh48hr, on the previous nights, I parked in the lot between BU and Pink Slip. But, while I was in BU, I heard the DJ mumble something about being towed if you were parked in one on those lots. I didn't know which one he was talking about. Since, most people parked on the street, that's what I did on the last night. In hindsight, I should have asked someone at the door where was the best place to park.
sweetjamesjones, I was parked on the street between BU & PS, and THOUGHT I was in a safe spot, near the stop sign closest Pink slop. A cop passed me twice as I was sitting in my car listening to music. I guess the MF waited for me to get out!
By the way, I had to wait at the tow company as the truck went to tow a car of someone who had been stopped & had a warrant near the clubs. I was told the warrant took precedence. When the tow truck came back, he had the car of the guy with the warrant on the flatbed AND hooked another car (a nice shiny, red camaro) parked near the same stop sign!! So, yea, I'm sure that's how Brooklyn makes its money.

Good stuff. My past couple of visits made me not even consider this shithole for future visits, but your review has given the spot some appeal.

Yea. damn auto-correct...
Correction...I chilled for a bit on a couch, and a few GIRLS came by. We felt each other up and made plans for a trip to the room or not.
