Stopped by after spending some time at Headlights Gold up the street. Was struck by the difference in vibe between the two - compared to most of the local strip clubs, this felt very much like a bar that happened to have a stage with some dancers. Beer was cheap, everyone seemed friendly enough, but it seems like most of the crowd were regulars who were there more to drink/hang out than watch the dancers. It actually reminded me of some of the joints in Portland, where the dancing seems secondary to the experience. There's a VIP area to the right when you walk in, but I didn't see any activity on that side and wasn't approached by any of the ladies for a dance. The talent was okay, at best - enthusiastic, but maybe not the most experienced. One last note - this club still allows smoking, so be prepared. Maybe I've been out of Virginia too long, but I forgot what it's like to walk into a bar full of smoke.
